There is almost nothing scarier than losing your heat in the middle of winter. Affordable Heating and AC sent their technician John, who was like an angel. He took the time to explain the repair, the problem, and advised us what to do going forward. We highly recommend this company!

Affordable has serviced my heating unit the last three years. They’ve always been a pleasure to work with, and have been thorough and timely. It was a no-brainer to contact them when I was ready to upgrade to central AC. Zach was extremely kind, skilled and knowledgeable. He answered all questions thoroughly, and did a terrific job. Heating installed my high efficiency boiler about 7 years and did a great job. Since then they have been doing routine maintenance on the system and I have been very satisfied with them. The other day the system failed and they responded very quickly. A new part was required and they obtained it and had the boiler working less than two days after the failure.

The people are friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

With temp in the 90’s, AC wasn’t cooling. They answered phone right away, set up appt for next morning. Repair was completed in less than 24 hours. Very prompt, courteous, and professional.

I was having trouble with my AC and called Affordable with my problem. They got right back to me, and I spoke to Robert who said he would be on his way. He no sooner arrived and was very nice and professional. He checked everything out and the problem was resolved. Beyond happy with our decision to work w/ Affordable H&AC to replace our gas furnace, install new ducts & vents, and install central AC. Went through a lot of negative home repair experiences before we finally found Rob and his crew. He took the time to explain what was going on, provided options, and answered questions w/ a down-to-earth professionalism that was radically reassuring. Collin’s help with the estimate, contract, and setting up service further reinforced that this is a family-owned business that takes genuine pride in building trust with its customers. Zach and his crew always arrived on time, walked us through what they were doing, were respectful and friendly. When we encountered some unexpected issues, he immediately found solutions, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional craftsmanship. The costs for the various work we had Rob and his team do over the last year were so far below the many other estimates we got. This company lives up to its name when it comes to affordability - but goes even further with their incredible customer service and workmanship. Thanks for being so awesome you guys!

The entire crew from Affordable Heating and AC were excellent from start to finish. Having no hot water isn’t an emergency, but it is quite the inconvenience when you have four children 8 years old or younger. Affordable was the only company ( out of more than a handful who were contacted) that could get out to the property to evaluate the situation the same day. The tech Zach was knowledgable, explained the situation thoroughly( in layman terms), and went over our options. He also made a “quick fix” temporary solution that gave us hot water for 24-36 hours. Both Zach and the owner Rob discussed with us what they felt was the best choice, but also were willing to discuss pros and cons to whatever decision we went with. We never felt pressured and we never felt we were getting a sales pitch. Once we decided what option to go with, our system was installed 2 days later( if we elected to repair the water tank heater, the repair would have been done in one day, bc we needed a particular part). The installation went smooth , with Zach and his assistant getting it done in a few hours. The post set up was also very professional. Rob followed up with us with regards to our satisfaction with the service and set up. He also helped us with the Mass Save rebate that we are eligible for. All in all , a very stressful and unpleasant, as well as unavoidable, situation was made much less stressful and unpleasant. I would highly recommend Affordable Heating and AC for any of your plumbing and HVAC needs.

Rob came out the same day, was super informative about the problem and fixed the issue within minutes! Affordable Heating & AC was great. I called and spoke to Rob the owner on Thursday and told him my AC needed repair. We made an appointment for Saturday. On Saturday I got a call from his technician Steve who told me what time to expect him at the house. When he showed up he was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He repaired the unit in no time and at a very reasonable price.
I would definitely recommend Rob and his technicians at Affordable Heating & AC.

About two weeks ago my central AC started blowing hot air. I had another company come to service and after charging me $500 for cleaning and an hour of Labor they told me it would cost $1,500 to replace three different parts to get my unit working. I called Affordable based on fb reviews and I was not disappointed. I got an appointment the next morning and Rob was great and explained everything about my unit. He did not talk down to me like I would not understand how the machine works. He explained about how much longer I can expect to keep my unit running well with service and maintenance and it only cost me a mere fraction of what the other company would have charged me. I am already planning to schedule furnace maintenance in the next few weeks for winter. Affordable heating and air conditioning are my guys from here on in!

During a very bad heat spell in June 2020 they came out very quickly and managed to fix the ac for us. Another company columbia essentials assigned the job turned it down and another one wanted me to wait a week. Affordable came out the next day .they are the best

Our AC went out at 3am. Called first thing in the morning, along with some other companies. The other companies told me they couldn’t get to us for a few days. I have had a water heater and central AC system installed this summer. Both experiences were excellent. The technicians arrive on time, are professional and polite.
