I have sold iPhones here in the past, but my most recent sale in December 2025 was disappointing in that it took much longer than expected for the phone to pass the inspection process and to have the check finalized for payment. It should not have taken almost three weeks to receive payment after the phone was received from BuyBackWorld.
I sent in a REMOVEDYoga 720 15.6in REMOVEDi7 7th Gen 256GB SSD 8GB RAM) that was quite old, and was pleasantly surprised to receive $48 for something I would have otherwise recycled at Best Buy. I received my payment to REMOVEDwithin 3 weeks of them receiving my laptop.
Buyback World treated me good. The promises were made on trade in price. The only hiccup was payment was not issued quickly but a quick email inquiry to the help desk with them solved it immediately. This is a good option to sell old tech and receive compensation for it.

I have used the service a couple times and have received a fare price for my items. Customer service has been quick and responsive to my questions. My only gripe is the speed of payment, I have waited over 2 weeks from when items were received before payment was issued, when most other services Ive used send payments within 3-4 days of product delivery. I wouldnt hesitate to use the service again.
