Was taking care of my daughters home, went in the garage and smelled a gas leak coming from the furnace. I called cascade natural gas and they immediately came out, they checked it out and told me it was coming from a large valve on the furnace. They red tagged it, told me do not turn on gas gas until I got it fixed. I called Chinook Heating and told them the situation and they immediately sent someone. I told them where the gas company found the leak. He insisted on doing his own diagnosis, he found a leak on a fitting. I was skeptical because of what I was told previously. He tighten the fitting, he rechecked and said said it was fixed. Chinook had every opportunity to give me a large bill but they were very honest. I highly recommend Chinook for heating repair, they are honest, very reasonable and the gentleman that came out was very professional. Great job!!!

We replaced our heat pump in 2018, and sought quotes from at least six local companies. I also got a lot of help with research from a cousin who owns an HVAC company elsewhere. Chinook provided by far the best price and were the most professional of any of the companies we spoke with. I think we saved $4k going with Chinook compared with the next highest quote. The owner spent time with us at our house talking about our needs and best options. We have been really happy with the new system. Their annual maintenance program is very affordable. We have had one issue since install and the service guy was out to help us within a half hour of our call. I could not ask for or hope for a better and more professional company.
Just a follow-up. Chinook techs are always professional and friendly! We appreciate the twice-yearly service!
Feb 2025: Another follow up. We had a sudden failure of a transformer on our unit today, and Eduardo spent about 3 hours this evening troubleshooting the failure and making arrangements for completing the repair tomorrow! Great customer service as always! Really good that there is 24 hours coverage for emergency service.

1/15/2025 at 5:45 p.m., I called Chinook Heating because my HVAC system quit working. A technician arrived at 7:45. He quickly diagnosed that the problem was caused by an electrical short. At 8:30, the problem was fixed and my heat was on again. He waited for about 15' to make sure it was going to be okay before he left. Chinook was amazing in both the speed and the effectiveness of their response.

Since moving into our rental, we have been contracted with Chinook. Every single time we have been given flexible scheduling options, polite office staff, text message reminders and updates throughout our visit and on top of that, they have sent the same Tech, Andres, out to our home each time. I love that they keep the same technician because he truly gets to know our equipment and knows where everything is each time. Andres follows procedures to a T and is very professional, kind and knowledgeable. They don’t try to upsell us for things we don’t need but are more than willing to explain things that could benefit us. Todays visit I inquired about getting a dryer vent cleaning done and rather than him tell me to call the office, he assured me they will get our landlord the quote and immediately jumped at the chance to gather pictures so they could properly bid the work. I come from Campbell & Company and so I know how critical and valuable it is to have photos taken to prevent multiple trips out and wrong pricing given. I am always impressed with Chinook.

Twice in a row you did not show up as scheduled with, well, I will try and be nice. No excuse but just very bad scheduling. The first time you blamed the technician the second time you just booked it on Thursday when you told us Wednesday. The first time I had to leave early from work to meet the technician that never showed. The second time my wife and I were both off work so we made sure we were home for our 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm window. At about 1:45 my wife called and you realized your mistake. So we waited another hour until you got a tech here. That was 3 hours out of our day and then an hour and a half for the service. Christian, the man that came out was outstanding though. Super polite and obviously knew what he was doing. The only saving grace for this outfit. They need to get their scheduling thing figured out. Just awful
