I am an employee of Citadel Care Kankakee Il. I enjoy coming to work. It is a warm, family like atmosphere. The employees work as a team. Our residents care is a priority with all staff.

I truly enjoy working in this facility I love how we come together to get the job done..we had change in upper management & our administrator truly make sure we get the job done and do it right she strives for perfect not half SsA.. I been in the nursing field for over 19 yrs must say they very understanding.. I love my residents they may say I make their day but I inform them they make mine🥰

The social worker, Sherri, was wonderfully helpful. She really helped us navigate the referral system. All the nurses were responsive to are questions and requests.

The staff did a great job in terms of communication. The room was always kept organized and clean. They made sure to inform me on any information that was new.

The staff were great and very motivating. The rom was nice but the bathroom space could be better utilized. No space, shelving, hooks to put stuff, yet plenty of space to add those things. Even the mirror above the sink did not open to reveal a medicine cabinet to store essentials. I had To store everything , including towels on small sink or on grab bars which I needed to use to get up from toilet. A quick trip to IKEA would have solved all these issues. Staff was great, food horrible (although they would substitute when asked, ) therapists were wonderful. Therapists Chloe, Zoe, Mike, Donna and Charlene really helped in my recovery. Nurse Ron and Ivan, a CNA were also exceptional!

All of staff are very friendly and so nice to my brother John. The Activity Director Jobany is so great planning all kinds of fun things for the Residents, and everyone really likes him.

Excellent facility for Rehabilitation & Nursing Home. All staff does great job & takes care of elderly people who needs real help:
1. Doctors
2. Nursing Day Shift (7am-3pm)
3. Nursing Evening Shift (3pm-11pm)
4. Nursing Night Shift (11pm-7am)
5. Physical Therapy
6. Occupational Therapy
7. Speech Therapy
8. Social Work
9. Activities
10. Culinary Services
11. Housekeeping

My mom is a resident at Crescent Care and receives exceptional care! Since her admission and completing the physical therapy she is now walking again and enjoys the wide range of activities that the activity director and his staff members offer each day. From the front desk staff, to the nursing, activity, physical therapy, and administrative staff the Crescent Care team is highly professional, caring and compassionate. I am so grateful that we choose Crescent Care for my mother’s long term care!

Staff and clinical team are patience,kind and professional when approached by family members with questions and make sure the family members get the answers that they are looking for in a timely manner from the appropriate team members

nurses need to come to rooms when cna's are too busy..Residents laundry SHOULD not be sent out ..only bedding and towels and gowns . A nurse refused me a medication .[ NIGHT NURSE ] Did not receive till morning shift .

My Mom was cared for at Crescent Care home since January of 2022. She was well taken care of while there. Mom was also under Hospice care while at this facility. The staff at the facility was always kind and supportive to my Mom even when she wanted to just be left alone. All and all Mom was well taken care of.

If your looking for a place for your loved ones to go for a short stay or long stay look no further. We care here how we care for your loved ones.
I've worked here for 6 years and would recommend anyone of my loved ones to get therapy here.
I've seen people come in that couldn't walk but came in with the will to walk and with therapy they left walking [this isn't for everyone but I have seen it happen].

BEST PLACE TO WORK!!! Comfortable home like environment. Offer residents comfort, independence and happiness. I cannot say enough about how great this facility is! Everyone are very helpful and cooperative from the owners to the administrator to each department…..feel fortunate to have joined this company and will grow old with it☺️ LOVE IT💕

I have never met a team of more dedicated employees! It does not matter what their job description is, they will help in any department. I have personally watched this team go through so much this past 2 years and they still smile and give it their all! Huge kudos to the amazing staff Citadel of Bourbonnais!

The staff at Crescent Care took wonderful care of my dad in his last stages of cancer. We were able to visit frequently and build a rapport with the staff. Everyone there were always so welcoming and caring. Ida was always available if ever I had a question or concern. The nurses, administrators and kitchen staff all checked in on him frequently.
In his last few days of life, the nurses and CNA’s showed him lots of love and comfort. They also took the time out to comfort us, the family, when it was so hard to see him in that condition. Amanda and Rosie really helped me get through those last few visits. I am so glad he had the best possible care in those last 2 months of life. Thank you!!!

With a very supportive Management team such as our Administrator, DON, ADON, wonderful staffing administering the facility with proper care and treatment to our residents that goes above and beyond, I'm glad to be a part of Citadel Care of Wilmette

The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. All the nurses and nurses aids were great and so were the PT’s and OT’s. They all went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as could be. I’m glad I had chosen them to transition myself into getting well enough to go home.

The care my mom recieved was top notch. We couldn't have been happier. They were attentive to her and very patient. EVERYONE was exceptional and answered all of our questions all of the time.

The staff was kind and caring to my mother in law. The social worker always responded to my calls and was very helpful. The food, while I didn’t eat it myself, smelled and looked delicious, and the portions were plentiful.
