I am an employee of Citadel Care Kankakee Il. I enjoy coming to work. It is a warm, family like atmosphere. The employees work as a team. Our residents care is a priority with all staff.

I truly enjoy working in this facility I love how we come together to get the job done..we had change in upper management & our administrator truly make sure we get the job done and do it right she strives for perfect not half SsA.. I been in the nursing field for over 19 yrs must say they very understanding.. I love my residents they may say I make their day but I inform them they make mine🥰

The social worker, Sherri, was wonderfully helpful. She really helped us navigate the referral system. All the nurses were responsive to are questions and requests.

The staff did a great job in terms of communication. The room was always kept organized and clean. They made sure to inform me on any information that was new.

The staff were great and very motivating. The rom was nice but the bathroom space could be better utilized. No space, shelving, hooks to put stuff, yet plenty of space to add those things. Even the mirror above the sink did not open to reveal a medicine cabinet to store essentials. I had To store everything , including towels on small sink or on grab bars which I needed to use to get up from toilet. A quick trip to IKEA would have solved all these issues. Staff was great, food horrible (although they would substitute when asked, ) therapists were wonderful. Therapists Chloe, Zoe, Mike, Donna and Charlene really helped in my recovery. Nurse Ron and Ivan, a CNA were also exceptional!

All of staff are very friendly and so nice to my brother John. The Activity Director Jobany is so great planning all kinds of fun things for the Residents, and everyone really likes him.

My mom is a resident at Crescent Care and receives exceptional care! Since her admission and completing the physical therapy she is now walking again and enjoys the wide range of activities that the activity director and his staff members offer each day. From the front desk staff, to the nursing, activity, physical therapy, and administrative staff the Crescent Care team is highly professional, caring and compassionate. I am so grateful that we choose Crescent Care for my mother’s long term care!

nurses need to come to rooms when cna's are too busy..Residents laundry SHOULD not be sent out ..only bedding and towels and gowns . A nurse refused me a medication .[ NIGHT NURSE ] Did not receive till morning shift .

My Mom was cared for at Crescent Care home since January of 2022. She was well taken care of while there. Mom was also under Hospice care while at this facility. The staff at the facility was always kind and supportive to my Mom even when she wanted to just be left alone. All and all Mom was well taken care of.

I've worked here for 6 years and would recommend anyone of my loved ones to get therapy here.
I've seen people come in that couldn't walk but came in with the will to walk and with therapy they left walking [this isn't for everyone but I have seen it happen].
