Dr. Drain is absolutely the best plumbing service in Hillsborough. Ryan has come out to our house several times while we repair our home after a leak caused extensive damage. Each time he’s been professional, incredibly kind, and extremely knowledgeable. He is always more than happy to not only fix a problem, but to also give advice on preventing it in the future. I could not recommend them enough.

So there are dozens of plumbers listed in the area and you never know if they are honest and competent. I got really lucky by choosing Dr Drain. I had an urgent issue with my shower faucet leaking and spraying water into the wall behind the shower. I had to turn off the water shutoff for the house. The first plumber I called estimated a repair cost of $900. I decided against them and called Dr Drain. The receptionist, April was very nice, professional, and understood the urgency of my problem. She promised to have someone here in a few hours. As promised, Ryan showed up and listened carefully as I explained my problem. It took him about 2 minutes to see what the problem was and proceeded with the repair. He didn’t try to sell me parts that I didn’t need. Total repair cost was $200. I highly recommend Dr Drain because of their honesty, competence and fair prices. I would definitely use them again.

I thought I might have a toilet leak, so I called Dr. Drain and they sent someone out same-day. They called in advance of the plumber's arrival, and Ted was a really nice guy and really knew his stuff. He quickly identified the problem and got it fixed -- he was probably in and out in less than an hour. The price was fair, the work was good, and everything was friendly and professional from start to finish. I won't call anyone else for plumbing at my house!

Called over the weekend asking for service as soon as possible. Had a call early Monday morning, saying technician could come by between 12 and 3. He arrived exactly "on time" and 12 noon, diagnosed the problem, could fix with new parts in his truck, and was finished, very efficiently, by about 12:30 p.m. I'm very satisfied with the service, and I'm very relieved as well
to have the problem fixed because I have family visiting in a day or so!

Came recommended to me by a family member and I see now for good reason. Really responsive - were able to come quickly for both the consultation and the actual repair. The plumber, Ryan, was awesome. Took the time to explain what was wrong and, after the repair, how to use/maintain the new plumbing fixtures. Pricing I thought was very fair, and I liked how everything was itemized so I could easily pick and choose. Will definitely be using them for any future work 👍

April in the office is courteous & professional. So pleasant to deal with. Ryan arrived exactly when expected & was extremely professional & knowledgeable. He installed a new kitchen faucet & a new laundry sink & faucet, while also repairing a leak in our upstairs bath. Ryan carefully explained everything he had to do and what costs to expect. I was very satisfied with the service. The plumber was very pleasant in knowledgeable and did a very good job of removing the old kitchen faucet and installing the new. The cost, $215, was more than I had expected but worth it because I could not perform the job myself.

I called Dr Drair to repair a leak in our crawl space. Ryan came out to diagnose the problem, and was very timely with the repair. He was also friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. While we waited to make sure the leak was sealed tight, he examined nearby pipe connections and noticed a small leak at another location, which he kindly fixed as well. April, who I spoke with on the phone was also very helpful. Great service, no complaints! Highly recommend!

They were prompt and responsive; our garbage disposal was unplugged and the plumber identified the issue right away and did not charge a service fee. He was also very personable and sweet with our baby and bulldog! Will absolutely call again with future issues.

We had to have our bathroom and shower faucets repaired, and Ryan, from Dr. Drain, as always, did a great job. He helped us get the expensive parts needed for the repair sent, free, from Moen, under warranty, as we were the original homeowners. We wouldn't have known this warranty protection was available, much less how to go about applying for it. He did all the work for us. When the parts came in, he did a beautiful job installing the new faucet components and at a reasonable price. We have used this company for years, and the plumbers they send out are inevitably polite, professional, willing to explain repairs in detail, and ever consistent in steering us away from unnecessary repairs. Dr. Drain has a highly competent team with integrity that is hard to match these days. I very highly recommend them.
