Highly recommended! Joe and his team came on Christmas eve to do a temporary drain for our busted sewage pipe so that we can use our water during Christmas. We had an emergency plumbing need for a leak that came through downstairs to a light fixture on the weekend. Found Illinois Sewer and Drain on Thumbtack ( which I love). I received a call back within 2 minutes of submitting my request.
Joel Contreras came within 30 minutes to assess and provide the quote Saturday evening without charging any emergency fees. He came back Sunday to complete the repair. He was courteous and professional and informed us of everything each step of the process. He cleaned up very nicely after the job was completed. I highly recommend this company and Joel!

We had a leaking drain in our kitchen sink on a Thursday. That same day we had a very reputable company initially come out. They wrongfully diagnose the matter, overcharge me and did a shoddy job --- that was an understatement. I was taken advantage of and quoted a big unnecessary job that was "requiring" to tear down a wall and remove the brand new boiler we replaced last year for new parts. I came to find out on the following day, that because I had denied the "big work" and opted for just the needed repair. My hot water was not working (an issue that wasn't an issue before.) Cue Joel and his company **LIFESAVERS!!** Joel came out immediately and was able to identify and explain the problem to me. Joel educated me, showed me everything and even encouraged me to take pictures of the shoddy work performed by the other company. If it wasn't for Joel, I wouldn't have known that my boiler was completely turned off including the pilot. Apparently this is a tactic many scamming plumbers do to pressure and panic you into having the big work done. To describe how honest and sincere Joel was would be hard. Joel was the complete opposite of how this reputable company was. Joel could have easily taken advantage of my urgent plumbing issue and of not having hot water for almost two days but Joel didn't. His prices are honestly fair and the service was really excellent. Joel was fast, efficient, and very professional. My rate for this company would be a 10/10. Let's be honest, now a days you can't find honest, experienced contractors and Joel and his company are seriously just that. I would absolutely recommend them...nope scratch that, I would **Highly Recommend** them. If you want to feel like you are in good hands, then this is the company for you. Joel's company is now my go-to and what a relief is this!

Great service! I had a clogged utility sink and was at my wit’s end. I contacted Illinois Sewer and Drain on a Thursday morning, and they were here promptly on Friday morning ready to work! Within an hour, they had completed the repair, showing me the issue and answering all of my questions patiently. I was most impressed with the plumber’s organization. He carefully managed and cleaned the work area thoroughly to the point where the sink looked better than it had in years when he was done! Illinois Sewer and Drain went above and beyond in the customer service department, and I plan on using them in the future for all of my preventative sewage and plumbing needs.

We installed two new water heaters 6 years ago. One of our water heaters started leaking on Saturday. We called the manufacturer of our water heater and they informed us that it was still under warranty. All I needed to do was remove our leaky water heater and return it to the store I bought it from. I called three different services for estimates for removal and installation. The quotes I received were astronomical. It was actually more cost effective to purchase 2 new water heaters and install them. My wife found Illinois sewer and draining on Angie’s list and submitted a request. Within 15 minutes Joe contacted us and was at our home within the hour. Joel was very honest and knowledgeable. He didn’t try to up sell any additional products or services. He actually suggested to convert from a two tank system to a single large tank system. On the day of installation James and Joel arrived. They were very professional and knowledgeable. They removed and installed the new water heater along with fixing all of the corroded pipes. Their pipe work was impeccable. I will be using Illinois sewer and drain inc for all my future plumbing services. I strongly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

The biggest fear a homeowner faces when something breaks in ones home is finding a good, honest, reliable and experienced person that charges reasonably. We found him!!! We had a broken pipe outside the house that needs to be fixed. The temperature was in the single digit but the wind chill was in the negative. Joe and his crew worked on the pipe diligently despite of the temp. They did an awesome job at truly a very reasonable amount. We were concern that companies might over charge us because of the weather and that we didn’t have the option not to have it fixed because our house was flooded. Not Joe!!! We’re very pleased and definitely will refer him to the rest of my family and friends. He was a gift from a friend when he was referred to us. Thank you so so so much Joe and the rest of the gang.

We own three rental properties and after a few frustrating experiences with other plumbers we decided to try Illinois Sewer and Drain and will never go anywhere else.
They are always on time, explain exactly what is wrong, answer any questions, keep a clean work area, and fix the issue. I have had drains cleaned, pipes lowered to accommodate a garbage disposal, replaced pipes to an outside spigot and installation of a new spigot. Their prices are reasonable and employees are always friendly and respectful even with the tenants.

Our sewage ejector pump stopped working on a late Saturday evening and we needed timely assistance! llinois Sewer & Drain responded to our message on the same evening, and the technician arrived on time to assess the problem on the next morning. He was able to diagnose the issue and conveniently had all necessary supplies to clean and replace the pump at that moment. It was a quick and easy process for us and at a fair price, especially on a Sunday! A sewage pump is definitely not something you want to have stop working. (To put politely...it's gross.)
