My daughter absolutely loved the summer camp and had an incredible time learning about and caring for the horses. She enjoyed every moment! Amber was so kind and welcoming, and she made me feel completely at ease as a first-time parent enrolling my child. Truly a wonderful experience all around! I would definitely recommend Leg Up Equestrian to all the horse lovers

My daughter raved about her experience at Leg Up summer camp from her first day. I could tell the staff were friendly and engaging before stepping out of my vehicle. My 8 year old daughter LOVES their summer camp. She has said it’s her favorite camp two years in a row. The instructors are wonderful and so sweet to her. She comes home everyday telling us all about the things she learned that day. There is a big emphasis around how to care for horses which we love. We will definitely continue sending her every summer.

My son did the week long boys’ camp. He had no prior experience riding horses, and I was thrilled to see him riding and trotting on his own by the end of the week. He learned the basics of how to groom the horses, take care of them, and ride! It was great for his confidence and he had a blast doing it. He can’t wait until next summer!

My daughter took lessons here in 2021 and also just finished a week at summer camp. Everyone on staff there is so friendly and kind. They’re also very patient and knowledgeable and take the extra time to ensure that the riders are comfortable with the horses. She has learned valuable work ethic skills at camp, while also getting to enjoy the calmness, beauty, and blessing of being able to ride. I would highly recommend lessons and summer camp!

Leg up Equestrian is an absolutely amazing place! The instructors, the owners and the whole experience of having my daughter experience English riding at this school has been wonderful! Every time I take my daughter I just transport into a different time. The ambiance is beautiful, relaxing and seeing the horses is so therapeutic! I truly wish I could learn to ride with them!
My daughter has been there for almost a year and have seen such great progress.
This year was her first opportunity at their Leg up camp and she could not stop talking about the wonderful friends she made, the great instructors and the awesome time she had. She was not just riding but learning how to care for your horse! She even had the opportunity to adopt a horse for the week!
Don’t give this great opportunity to be surrounded by a kind and peaceful environment a second chance!
Your child is not just learning to ride but also the immense responsibility that comes caring for your horse and their home!
Mrs. Cathy, Mr. S, their beautiful instructors and assistants are a great team!
They truly care about the students and want to see them progress!!. They are not giving handouts! They want the students to excel, to love to ride but most importantly to learn to work together and care for the horses!

I highly recommend the horse riding lessons at Leg up Equestrian. They have been fantastic with my daughter, demonstrating both expertise and a genuine passion for teaching. Their knowledgeable approach has not only improved her riding skills but also significantly boosted her confidence. My daughter also participated in their summer camp, and it was an exceptional experience. The camp was not only educational but also incredibly fun, teaching her responsibility while keeping her engaged. It’s the only camp she has ever wished was an overnight camp because she never wanted to leave. Overall, the program has been a wonderful experience for her, blending learning with enjoyment seamlessly.

We had a fantastic experience at Leg Up Equestrian Camp! My daughter attended both the camp and the spring sessions, and I can't recommend this place highly enough. She loved it so much, she wants to attend the fall session. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly cares about the well-being and progress of each student. The facilities are well kept and the horses are well-cared for and gentle. My daughter not only improved her riding skills but also gained confidence and made great friends. If you're looking for a great equestrian program, this is the place to go!

We are new to the horse back riding world but we’ve had nothing but a great experience so far with Leg Up Equestrian. Our daughter started off with summer classes then she loved it so much(in addition to liking the trainers and staff) and is now on her 3rd week of the fall beginner classes. So far our trainer is wonderful. He’s professional, truly cares about the girls all around education for horse back riding and the equestrian world. Very focused, knowledgeable but great with the younger kids. I would highly recommend!

Leg Up has been a wonderful experience for our 8 year old! She started with a week long, daily, summer camp. She cried on the last day because she didn't want to leave the horses. My daughter started riding horses at Leg up Equestrian Academy last year. Our experience with school has been just so amazing. I am so thankful to Cathy and Mr. S plus all the wonderful instructors. My daughter loves every minute of the time she spends at this academy. The horses at this school are so so well trained and behave so well. Although the school was overwhelmed with number of interests, Mr. S took his time to accommodate and help my daughter so much. Thank you Leg Up Equestrian! We love you!!! ❤️

We love Leg Up! Mr S is so good with the riders and his pride shines through when he sees his riders performing. Always provides gentle and kind direction and guidance to the kids! The Spring Show was a great way to see our rider’s progress and a great introduction to the riders of what a show would be like. Highly recommend Leg Up!

Our Daughter started lessons here last month and participated in her first show last weekend. She absolutely loves her lessons and had a ball at the show. The instructors are knowledgeable and make the children feel comfortable at any level. The property is pleasant to visit and we enjoy looking at the other horses. You can tell they take excellent care of their horses. We are looking forward to the camp this summer. I would highly recommend Leg Up!

Our 7 year old daughter was wanting to ride since she was 3. She started here right after her 7th birthday and fell in love with riding immediately. The kindness and patience of the staff is incredible. Coach Amber is the very best, and everyone our daughter has come in contact with has been encouraging. She has learned not only the basics of riding so far, but how to groom and care for her horse, as well as participates in barn chores. This has given her a new found independence and responsibility. We couldn’t be happier with Leg Up and highly recommend to anyone interested in riding!

My daughter had a wonderful time at her first camp this week. We’ve been to quite a few different kinds of camps and this, by far, has been one of the best. My daughter loves to learn and learned a lot about horses, while also getting to care for them and ride them with no precious experience. The instructors were young, but they were very knowledgeable and great communicators and I was very impressed with their encouraging speech towards the children. A great experience - we will be back!
