I’ve been going to LSM for many years. It’s always been a pleasant experience with kindness, friendly greetings, professionalism and always tender care.

However I must be truthful and comment on my most recent appt there..(first time ever there)… specifically with one woman at the front desk who greeted me (not) for my appt. It left me pretty perplexed.

I had had an early morning appt. I walked in and up to the front desk. I smiled and said, “good morning” I stated my full name and appt time. She just stared at me - no response. I thought maybe my appt was not on the calendar, so I mentioned that I was confirmed, bc someone dud call me to do so. She asked me my name again (2x) I provided it. Still no response .

There was a pause, and She asked me my name once again for the 3rd time. I repeated it. I have a 5 letter last name. it’s not hard to say or pronounce.

She finally got up w/o a word and went over to her printer for documents. She put them on a clipboard and handed them to me. Nothing said.

I was well aware of the office procedure so I took a seat, filled out the papers and returned them to the front desk, all the while thinking, “ what is h e r problem etc?” I chalked it up to maybe she was having a bad start to the morning. As such, you still don’t allow that to flow over to your patients.

What absolutely took the cake for me was when my mammo was done, I went up to the front desk once again bc I wasn’t sure if there was a co-payment. I stood in front of the same woman to ask this. She had her head down and was scrolling on her phone. I waited a good 20 to 25 seconds for her to look up . She never did. She sat there looking at her phone and completely ignored me.

The other lady (with blonde hair) had come back to the desk, greeted me and asked if I needed help. She answered my question, I was “all good”and wished me a good wknd and Easter holiday.

Phone girl still had her head down looking at her phone. That was more important than helping a client/patient.

I couldn’t believe it. This is an older woman who should definitely know better. It might be expected of a teenager or a 20 something, but not of a 50+ year old.

I work at the front desk of a law firm. If I treated/interacted with our clients the way that she did/didn’t with me, I wouldn’t have a job.

Time for some front desk etiquette/office procedure training for Ms T-Mobile. Maybe she needs a time-out.

I had a really great experience at this location. The front desk staff was amazing—so patient and understanding when I realized I had forgotten my script. They kindly waited while I had it emailed over from my doctor, which I truly appreciated.

The mammography technician was wonderful—very comforting, kind, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. The sonogram technician was also excellent and extremely thorough.

Overall, the entire team made what could have been a stressful visit feel smooth and reassuring. I’m very grateful for their care and professionalism.

This was my second year with Her Space for my mammogram. So I’ve had two excellent experiences with what is not normally an appointment one looks forward to. The women at reception and the technicians are absolute peaches. Fine women who are optimists too. They make my appointment for next year so I’m less likely to wiggle out of it. Smart cookies. Highly recommend Her Space. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and sense of humor.
