I cannot say enough about Midwest Counseling. As a result of a severe trauma event I struggle in my daily life. My therapist with many years of experience in life trauma events has been extremely helpful. What is helpful to me is she listens but at the same time will be very straight forward in how to deal, techniques in staying grounded and so on. As I have been reminded this is about me, not others. Most important to me is
Midwest Counseling is there to help me heal.
Cannot say enough how my life has changed since going to Midwest.

I have always said I did not need someone to talk to. My reasoning I thought my pain was to great. Keeping things bottle up got me sick. It was time to talk to someone.
I'm a really busy individual and they work with my schedule. My therapist has given me tips to go through the grief. I felt comfortable in the environment she given. I need everyone to know you do have to do the work. I glad I made the call.

Very friendly and lovely front desk. Helpful with making appointments, making the checkout process easy, and good about helping with insurance. As for my therapist, she has been the best thing for me in my process of healing and recognizing my mental health. Overall highly recommended Midwest Counseling Centers of Ohio!

Lynne is amazing! She goes above and beyond for her clients. She takes a whole family approach with children rather than just the child. She is amazing at what she does and you can feel how much heart she puts into others.

I am currently an employee at MCCO. I have been here for 9 months. It has been the best 9 months. Where I’m from Ohana is so important. That comes with loyalty, love, understanding, and patience. It is so hard to find employment where you get everything you give in return… at MCCO, it’s definitely returned. Appreciation, love, patience, loyalty, understanding… OHANA❤️. Not only is MCCO good to their staff, but we also have grateful, understanding, loving, clients. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Offices are comfortable and relaxing. Staff from reception to therapists seem to care genuinely about your treatment and well-being.

I’ve been seeing Lynne for a few months now. I love how I’m able to do virtual appointments and see her in person. She’s always understanding. She’s very upfront and not afraid to step on toes, which is what I need for therapy. I always feel 10x better after each session.

Lynne is fantastic. She has an uncanny ability to build trust with out son. She meets him where he's at and works with him from a place a trust and comfort and, from his perspective, fun. Where getting him to previous therapists was like pulling teeth, he looks forward to his sessions with Lynne. Under her care, his behavior and overall mental health has shown considerable and steady improvement. She has made such a positive difference in our son and, by extension, our family. I couldn't recommend her more enthusiastically.

MsLynn welcomes input from outside professionals, works with legal professionals, school officials and even difficult family members in order to best serve the child. She quickly figured out how to break through my teen's protective shell - always with a joke and sly smile. My child's emotional growth has greatly been from her guidance.

We chose Lynne at Midwest after a a friend recommended her. She has been a wonderful asset to our young daughter's emotional development and well being. Lynne's approach utilizing music therapy and art therapy made our daughter look forward to her appointments. We could not be more pleased. Also, of note, the straightforward scheduling, billing and insurance transparency is top notch!
