I truly appreciate the prompt intervention, which immediately relieved the anxiety and stress I had experienced. I would like to thank Mr. Kamil and the nurse practitioner involved for taking the time to listen and ensure appropriate follow-up. Their response demonstrated professionalism and accountability, and I appreciate the effort made to resolve the situation. Update after owner response: Thank you for responding. For clarification, my full name is Mengisen Massawe. “Menny Terry” is the nickname I use online, which may explain the difficulty locating my file. I did visit this clinic and was seen in person at this location. I was explicitly told to expect results within 48 hours, which is why my concern relates to the lack of follow-up and communication during that timeframe. While the clinical care itself was professional, the post-visit communication and support process was disorganized and required repeated calls to obtain basic updates. My feedback is not about clinical competence, but about follow-up accountability and communication. I am also traveling internationally soon and would appreciate assistance in locating my file and completing the appropriate follow-up before departure. I hope this helps improve the process for future patients and allows this matter to be resolved promptly. I want to acknowledge that the nurse practitioner who saw me in person did a great job and was professional during my visit. However, the overall experience was frustrating due to very poor communication, which appears to be caused by the clinic being extremely busy. I was clearly told that I would receive my full test results after 48 hours. After waiting the full 48 hours, I called for feedback and was then told I might need to wait another 24 hours because the nurse practitioner responsible for reviewing and interpreting my results was seeing many other patients. I had to insist on getting my results because I needed to travel. When I finally received an update, I was told I had an “infection” and was advised to use clotrimazole along with another medication. However, no one could explain what the test actually showed, whether the infection was fungal or bacterial, or provide clear guidance on treatment duration or next steps. It is also important to note that the clotrimazole was only mentioned after I specifically asked whether there was any medication in addition to the initially mentioned one. The situation was made worse by the fact that the receptionist appeared poorly informed, even on very basic questions. Most of the time, she said she needed to “wait and ask the nurse practitioner,” and at times she openly said “I don’t know” in response to simple, reasonable questions. This made it feel like there was no clear system in place for communicating results. If patients are told to wait 48 hours for results, there should be a structured follow-up process to ensure those patients are reviewed and advised on that day. Instead, it seemed my case was only handled after repeated calls and insistence, in between other patients. That is not fair to patients who are already anxious and following the clinic’s instructions. The medical care itself may be adequate, but the lack of organization and clear communication after testing caused unnecessary stress. I hope the clinic improves its follow-up process and ensures front-desk staff are better informed so patients receive timely and clear explanations.

I cannot recommend my dermatologist, Dr Amandeep Sandhu, highly enough. He is the very best physician in every way—and, just as importantly, a true advocate for his patients. His advocacy quite literally saved my life. Months ago, I was diagnosed with a highly malignant, highly metastatic, deadly cancer that nearly killed me. I had to suddenly leave my family home because my elderly parents were unable to provide the level of care I required during intensive radiation and chemotherapy, which caused devastating side effects I am still dealing with today. At a critical moment when time was tied to my survival, Dr Sandhu acted quickly and provided an expedited support letter that made it possible for me to fast-track a county transfer through the state. Because of his swift action, I was able to secure appropriate medical coverage and obtain care at a world-class cancer treatment center best equipped to handle my complex case, which includes serious preexisting conditions. His quick action, medical excellence, and genuine humanity made an immeasurable difference at a moment when every second counted, at a time when my mortality was quite literally on the line. He is truly invaluable to me. Dr Sandhu has continued to be a powerful and steady force in my care. He’s an integral part of the process that kept me alive, and I am deeply grateful for his compassion, urgency, and commitment. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone with skin concerns, especially concerns about skin cancer. This is the BEST DERMATOLOGIST. I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. They saved my life. I was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer last year. Prior to this, I kind of put off going to the dermatologist. I had one biopsy somewhere else and it turned out to be a benign mole although it really looked like it was cancerous. It took a really long time to get the results back, I kept calling and calling and I just didnt care for that whole process I went through over there. When I went into Sand dermatology they were super quick, easy and efficient also very friendly and flexible for me. This mole that I really didnt think was anything serious turned out to be melanoma. Luckily I got it early enough and it was not deadly - which it could very easily been. Sand dermatology was so great throughout this whole process. I cannot thank them enough. Do not put off going to the dermatologist if you have a lot of moles, you never know which one could end your life. I am only 37 years old and if I had put off going to the dermatologist any longer than I had - it could have ended my life. Melanoma does not respond well to treatment. Thats why its so deadly. Sand Dermatology makes it so quick and easy theres no reason to put off going to the dermatologist. THANK YOU SAND DERMATOLOGY! I APPRECIATE YOU GUYS

Its been two years with four visits since I first went to Sand Dermatology. The front office staff made me feel comfortable when I checked in. I didnt feel like a number or just another customer, but someone who needed to feel at ease instead of being nervous of my condition. I found Sand Dermatology from an internet search and called. I took the first appointment and communicated that I could come in if there was a cancelation. My visit is solely cosmetic. I have been getting spots on my face and body because of too much exposure to the sun. I am very happy with the care. Do not hesitate to come in. When you call your doctor a friend, then you know the service is excellent.
