I want to give a 5 Star Review to Solar Service Professionals and their awesome Solar Tech Eduardo "Eddy" Rodriguez. Eddy came to my house and diagnosed the issue (inverter having relay issues). He saw the inverter was under warranty and the "paperwork" was done for me to get a replacement inverter. Eduardo was here today and worked efficiently to get swap inverters. He took the time to show me how to cycle through the displays and pointed out the important ones to be aware of. I am very pleased with his professionalism and want to recommend him to anyone needing solar services.

Discovered SSP on Angie's (list). My previous services from Angie's weren't very good.
I communicated via text (my preference) with Manny. He answered my questions and provided the charge for visit prior to scheduling. (Another company on Angies did not provide after asking twice).
Tech Isaac arrived within the provided one hour time window (not a 4 hour window like cable or satellite companies).
Issac very professional, told me what he was doing at the breaker box and inverter box on the side of the house. After collecting the necessary data he proceeded to the roof to check out the panels. When finished on the roof he returned to the breaker box and repeated his checks which results being better readings. While doing the recheck he said the solar panel connections all looked good as well as the panels that were manufactured and installed in 2010. Issac could have said his findings on the roof weren't good but he described what he saw. The same could be said when he checked the inverter..... let's be honest, I wouldn't know if he wasnt being honest if he said his findings on the roof we horrible instead....because I know nothing about solar or the troubleshooting process.
He buttoned everything up said all data would be sent to his HQ and I would be receiving a call or email from Manny with the findings and options for resolutions if needed. I will gather some electrical bills and send over to Manny so he has a better understanding of MY situation.
No pressure to HQ, but Issac has set the bar for being transparent with his findings which I give 5 STARS. It's your turn to keep that 5 star rating.

For the past 2 years, I’ve been trying to fix a problem that was caused by poor installation from the installers who went out of business a year after they installed my system. I’ve spoken to at least 10 different companies with no resolution until I contacted Josh and Luis. They are responsive and diagnosed the problem and corrected the installation problem and so far my system is running accurately. One of their greatest strengths is explaining technical elements in an easy to understand manner that doesn’t require you to have a solar or electrical engineering degree. I also found their pricing very reasonable and would recommend them!

Solar was not producing and my bill was proof. Had not had my solar system looked at since it had been installed over 10 years ago. Contacted the Solar Service Professional, theyi had someone dispatched within a few days.
Eduardo Rodruguez is wonderful. Professional, on time, knowledgeable, and by the time he left my solar was working at 60%. There are additional parts and items that need to be ordered otherwise I'm confident that he would have had it to 100%.
But from zero production to 60% in an hour is pretty awesome.
In addition to all of these great things, one thing I loved was they didnt try to sell me a new system.
Would recommend 100% - after they get my system where it needs to be, I plan to discuss setting up an annual maintenance plan, ensure my system is working properly year after year.

My solar technician was Eddie Rodriguez and he diagnosed the problem quickly. Then waited over 35 minutes on hold to get permission to make the repair. He did this in over 100 degree heat. He explained the basic operation of the system to me so I can shut it down in case of emergency. He also walked me through the next steps of the process so I have a better chance at recovering a credit for the time my system may not have been reporting properly to SDG&E. Bottom line great service and I hope he's able to assist when we get a battery installed.

Eduardo is our super hero, he restored the system after being down for over a year and back to saving approximately $4K a year. We had purchased a solar system from a company (Diamond Solar) about 2-3 years ago. They were a mess and eventually went out of business. So last July 2024 our Solar Edge inverter went out and Solar Edge sent us a new one. I had to find my own installer to swap the inverters. Called a few(maybe 7). Didn’t feel comfortable with any of them except SOLAR SERVICE PROFESSIONALS (Issac-tech) Long Story short when Issac, he wasn’t cocky like most techs of any home service trade Very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and doesn’t mind answering any questions. Even gave some education on how to keep track of your solar usage and etc, something that the company that sold us our solar system didnt do 2-3 yrs ago. If you ever need any solar system services or repairs I highly recommend SOLAR SERVICE PROFESSIONALS, and if you could request a specific technician, try to request for Issac for peace of mind.
