Called office ~8:15 AM for non-functioning AC unit. Told by office a tech could be to my house late morning. Tech arrived by 10:00 AM. She did a very thorough investigation/diagnosis. Didn’t try to up-sell me even though my unit was relatively old. Determined it was the fan motor (which I decided to replace myself). Unit working good as new, now. Thanks, SS&B, for timely, honest service!

We had a complete system installed to replace a worn out 1970s system. SS&B installed new ductwork and HVAC system, and ran the ductwork in the basement in such a manner as to maximize room for future finishing. The installers were professional and courteous and paid attention to detail, and went over and above to make sure we were satisfied! Our unit was really to old to spend a lot of money on repairs so we opted to have salesman to come out. Brad was very knowledgeable and got us set up with a new unit and we wanted a mimi split system for the upstairs to keep the bedrooms cooler. The installers did an upstanding job. We are very pleased and happy to have cooler rooms upstairs. I can't forget Kate in the office as she was very helpful when I called with questions. Thank you all.

Very happy with our new air conditioning unit. The service technicians who installed the unit were very professional. We had a service technician come to our home a week later for a few questions. He was very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend SS&B!

Being a single mom it can be hard to get companies to take you seriously and not take advantage of you for being a female. I had a prior company servicing my ac and furnace and when my ac unit quit working they said I had to replace it. They said the parts and unit was discontinued and tried to get me to replace it. I was very leary but knew I needed to have a second opinion. SS&B sent out a technician right away and said it could be fixed!!! They sent Libby out as soon as the part came in and she checked everything out and really went out of her way to make things right!!! Thank you Libby for restoring my faith! I really appreciate everything!!! You have a new customer!!

The SS&B technician that serviced my HVAC unit was knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. Quickly assessing my AC unit, informing me what needed to be done to improve the efficiency of the unit. After receiving my authorization replaced the necessary components and refrigerant promptly. I was very pleased today. I've been hesitant to call for the appointment to have AC checked. The young man stayed outside and checked everything out. What a TERRIFIC experience!
Our AC went out, Brad was our project manager who came by to sit down and go through all of the information with us on a new unit. Warranty, cost, the whys behind the Model and his professional opinion on the model he would suggest for our home! This also came with a rebate!
They blocked the whole day off for the install and we here on time as promised and finished on time! They went above and beyond and we are so grateful to have AC again!

Their tech Liby, really knows what she is doing. Last year she diagnosed and fixed our 9 year old furnace/heat pump and this year she got our air conditioner up and running within 30 min, the same day I called. Great company to work with. We have used them for our rental as well. They do it right this first time!

Brad and his professional install techs were easy to talk to and never at any time did I feel pressured when discussing our options.
The install was done quickly and cleanly and what I thought was an affordable budget friendly price along with good financing options.

SS&B personnel provided us full information, the best quote and an excellent installation of a Trane AC unit & matching coil to qualify for our City Utilities energy savings rebate. The SS&B salesman was very courteous, extensively experienced and readily shared his equipment knowledge with us. The SS&B installer was also courteous and extensively experienced; he performed a neat installation both inside & outside. An important reason for selecting our specific Trane model is that it has the lowest A-weighted sound power level of any similarly priced 4-ton, high quality AC unit having a single stage compressor. That unit is located near the window of a music listening room and is fairly close to a bedroom. We highly recommend SS&B Heating & Cooling for equipment, installation and maintenance.

I'm trying to replace my Heat Pump over in Virginia and have quotes for two Trane Dealers that had different Air Handlers proposed. I needed an expert to break the tie. So I called the Trane Dealer in Springfield Mo. because it has similar weather and SS&B has very high ratings. Brad graciously took my a call and asked details about the house and Air Handlers in the two quotes. He quickly identified which of the two quotes was better and took the time to explain in simple terms why one configuration was best. There was nothing in it for Brad to help me, but he gave 20 minutes of his time. I can see why he and SS&B are an award winning Trane Dealer. Thank you Brad!
