The cakes are absolutely delicious, second time ordering the design was absolutely amazing. Better customer communication would be great, all quotes are done via email and sometimes went to spam or I did not receive. Otherwise great

I put in my ordered in advanced and they had an easy payment method. Pick up was just as easy and their store front is very clean (and cute). When I can in my order was ready and they had me check it before I left and it was wrapped and secure so it didn’t move around, it was so cute! I loved how everything turned out for my son’s first birthday. He LOVED the cake. I will definitely use them again in the future!!

Cake was still good I ordered a marble cake with with cream cheese filling in , and I received a confetti cake with cream cheese fillin. Overall the cake display was beautiful and cake still taste good.I understand there’s a lot of cake that has to be made, will be back just don’t want the same mistake to happen again.

We picked up a ready made birthday cake for my daughter's birthday. Her only ask was a chocolate cake with a husky on top. We had already ordered her cake topper and just needed a cake. This one was beautiful and she absolutely loved it! They also happened to have dog themed candles which were so cute. Best cake ever she said!

The gal who assisted me on our visits was super helpful and very kind. My order I had placed online that morning was ready and packaged beautifully. The cake and cupcakes were delicious and beautiful. Having the candles available to make the cake our own was a huge plus. My son loved his cake and the gold macrons on top. First off everyone is wonderful in the bakery! They area all very helpful and customer service is INCREDIBLE (thanks Scott!) and also verrrrrrrrrrry quick to respond. I love supporting local businesses and this one did not disappoint.
I am also a lover of a good sweet buttercream and good (NOT DRY) cake. The Vanilla and the red velvet cakes were all so good and a huge hit with the family. I purchased these cakes from the "ready made" options and I have to say that I will definitely be coming back. I can't even imagine what a custom cake would taste like because the quality of the ready made ones far exceeded my expectations.
All I have to say is that this place was worth it. I don't think ill ever go back to just getting a cake at walmart, when I can purchase this and help out the community at the same time. The location can be a little hard to get in and out of being on the busy street corner, and the shop is tiny and quaint, but let's all real here...customer service and product will outshine that any day. Great job and thank you Sweet Escape I rate you an A++, from one Avid cake lover to another.

I live in Texas and was ordering a gift for a business that I regularly work with. Found this company on yelp and was absolutely pleased with the type of baked goods shown in their website. They were able to accommodate my delivery request and to my surprise it was same day. Within a few hours, the delivery arrived, and the company team has absolutely raved about them. For my mom’s 70th I knew what colors and the flavor I wanted for a cake. I sent the ideas to Sweet Escapes and they did the rest. The cake came out better than I could have hoped. I had a custom made order for my daughter’s 10th birthday. We asked for a 3 tier cake that was very detailed. It was a Morgan Wallen theme. We also asked for 2 dozen cookies which were also Morgan Wallen/ country themed. We had a vision of what we wanted it to look like. I felt as though with as much detail and design we wanted they would have thought we were crazy. Turns out they didn’t. They brought her cake and cookies TO LIFE! We truly could not have asked for a more perfect cake and cookies detail wise. Now as far as the flavor. We ordered a vanilla cake. I was also concerned about the taste because we had to pick it up Saturday morning and the party wasn’t for another 26 hours. So when we cut into it I was nervous it would fall apart and be a complete disaster. It wasn’t. It was absolutely DELICIOUS. Everyone at the party raved about how moist and delicious it was. We are extremely pleased with our all around experience. The only constructive criticism I could possibly give is that because the cake was a multiple layered cake, that we got a heads up about the rod being down the middle of the cake and the random “straws” in the middle of the cake. This was my first time ever getting a custom cake from anywhere so I had no idea what was “wrong” with it when we were trying to cut it and it wasn’t cutting. Other than that everything was perfectly done. If there were a rating it would definitely be a 10/10!!!

This place is amazing, I’m a returning customer and they never fail! On todays order there was something I needed fixed and there was a misunderstanding between I and the bakers, The Manager and team went above and beyond to make sure I was accounted for and the cake was perfect and that I was happy! Mind you the mistake was mine for not reading the polices and they STILL made sure it was fixed and I was happy. Truly the sweetest people, and the best custom shop! I’ve been buying my family cakes here for 2 years and this is why! Their customers always come first and with the Industry there in its definitely hard to please everyone and get every perfect detail but they will give it one Big Shot and usually NEVER MISS! Highly recommend!

Found Sweet Escape in early July this year and ABSOLUTELY love this place! Everything I have gotten has been SO delicious and everyone loves it. I have purchased cake pops, cake & cupcakes (white, chocolate and red velvet), cookies like chocolate chip, iced sugar, dipped Oreos. Dipped pretzels and rice crispy bars. The brownies….to die for! We moved to Oaklandon in late August and continue to make the drive to the shop for whatever we need for every occasion. Definitely worth the drive!

We celebrated my step-dad’s 80th birthday, a truly special milestone, and I couldn’t have been happier with the sugar-free cake I ordered. Since my step-dad is diabetic, I wanted to make sure he could enjoy the celebration without worry, and this cake was an absolute hit.
