Was dreading having to do this I'm very easily annoyed. But Jake takes very good control of the classroom and keeps the attention seekers at bay which would normally ruin a class like this for me. Wish I wouldn't have waited so long now. Expearianced or not you will learn something and come out with a very clear cut knowledge of the laws in this state. He also does very well at the range with inexpeiranced people you will feel safe.

The class was very educational . The teacher Was great more than helpful. He was ready to answer any question that I had. A real friendly guy with a lot of knowledge on fire arms and fire arm safety. I was extremely nervous going in to class. This teacher managed to ease that within the first 10 minutes. Now I’m confident in my ability’s to use and store firearms properly. I also feel like I have a better understanding of the laws for firearm safety.
Would recommend this class it was awesome!

Jacob was such an amazing teacher with patients and plenty of knowledge of guns, I love that he was very thorough with real life situations. 11/10 in North Carolina and will definitely be returning with the rest of my family

This experience was very informative and efficiently taught. The class was small enough and Jake taught this course with so much passion and knowledge. I hadn't held a firearm in years but I felt comfortable afterwards. Jake really knows his stuff and kept us alert as well as laughing to keep us tuned in. I was feeling intimidated going into the course but that changed quickly. I would most certainly advise anyone to take this class, he's the best!

I absolutely loved the experience. I loved the small class size and the fact it was a women's only glass. Hands on training. All questions answered. I felt safe and secure. And know feel secure that I know what to do. The class is taught by someone who is experienced with guns and gun safety. I definitely recommend this class and Triad Firearms Academy.

Jacob is one of the best instructors in the Triad area! He’s very hands-on, and if you have any questions or concerns he’s always there to help. An amazing course that teaches you about real scenarios that can happen. Going to the outdoor range is the funnest part! If you’re looking to get your concealed carry i definitely recommend looking into signing up for his class! 100% worth the money!

This class was very informative. There were several experiences shared that we can come across at any point in our lives. The outcomes of those experiences really put decision making into perspective. I appreciate hearing real stories instead of made up scenarios. Before this class I had never shot a firearm. After this class, I feel more comfortable shooting and actually look forward to going back to work on sites and accuracy.

Was very happy with the concealed carry class. Was a great environment and professional. Classroom time was not dreadful at all and the range was of course fun but held to a very high standard for safety and professionalism. I’m definitely coming back to do other classes here. It was a great class. Very engaging and with real life experience examples from his law enforcement and personal past Wasn’t just a lecture on the laws and parts of a gun.
On the range, safety always came first. He would work with you until you were comfortable handling the weapon.
Professional all the way. Would highly recommend them.

I’ve been a concealed carry holder for over 6 years and I thought I knew everything about gun safety until I took this class. The instructor took his time and explained things. He also gave additional help to individuals if they felt unsure of anything. I could go on and on about how great of an experience this was, but instead I’ll let you have the joy of experiencing it for yourself.

Instructor Jacob Darr is the best! I was a little uncomfortable taking conceal carry with no experience but he really took his time and made sure everyone felt comfortable handling a handgun before the end of class. The theory portion of class wasn't filled with PowerPoints or videos, he spoke about real life experiences and allowed many questions as needed. Take the class!!

This class surpassed my expectations! I thought we would watch videos and power point presentations. I was wrong. Jacob's an amazing instructor. I stay engaged the entire day and I promise, it's hard to keep my attention. The material is state material but it was the experience and examples that I really appreciate and enjoyed. Also I liked the diversity of our class, it made the entire experience even better bc we all came from different perspectives. Jacob nailed it. Don't question if you should take it... Take the class and make sure it's with Jakob.

Very detailed PowerPoint on guns, ammunition, safety, as well as cleaning and maintenance on owning a gun. Both instructors were excellent in detail and paid extra attention to those who needed it. They made it fun and exciting! A lot of us there were first time shooters, but you would have never been able to tell. We all had great on target shots!! Triad Firearms Academy is a great place to learn and train. Thanks guys!

My instructor Jake was excellent, he took the time to explain a lot of information that I feel helped me. Never shot a gun before and he and another guy at the shooting range help me understand about shooting and I did really good.
