Everything was set up and ready to go every day. They also picked the best spots available, which was a nice touch. One funny thing was them thinking my name was “Pim” instead of “Tim”… my kids had a good laugh. I never heard of anyone named “Pim” and they had my credit card with my name on it…funny.

This was our second time using Pleasure Island for umbrella rentals, and we were very happy! We rented 4 umbrellas to keep our family in the shade, when necessary. My husband LOVES the fact that he no longer has to scramble down to the beach first thing in the morning, lugging the tents/umbrellas and worrying about where to set them up. PIR set them up by 9am and then took them down at 5pm, for the whole week. Easy! The umbrellas are great quality and withstood any wind (unlike many on the beach😳) We did have one day that the umbrellas were not set up when we came down to the beach. I made a phone call and found out that they could not set them up that day due to excessive wind. An email/text alerting us would have been great…but we survived. Highly recommend PIR🙂

I have never rented chairs for the beach before. I will never not rent them again! They made it so easy and mindless. I filled out the form online and paid about a week before my beach trip. (They sent out a confirmation email but it got sent to my spam folder so I didn’t see it.) but I walked out on the beach when I got there and my chairs and umbrella were there! It was super convenient and a great value. I will definitely book again when I return.

Truly a treat to have my chair and umbrella waiting when I came down for morning coffee on vacation. We’ve rented the chairs and umbrella with daily delivery 2x now and will again when we visit CB.

Pleasure Island rentals did an excellent job on supplying us, our umbrellas, and chairs each day of our vacation. They were on time each day, they brought quality chairs and umbrellas, and were very easy to work with! I will definitely use them on my next trip to Carolina Beach and would recommend them to anyone else who could use their services!

Great staff and easy to set up delivery rentals. Even though I lost a skimboard and a board fin, the staff was more than reasonable for replacement and repair cost. Definitely recommend PIS for beach gear rental!

Pleasure Island Rentals is absolutely fantastic and trustworthy. Great communications - when I needed to make a change to my order, they were on it and responded quickly. Friendly service, great chairs, umbrellas and we also rented a paddleboard. We will definitely use them again.

Every year we use pleasure island rentals and every year they do a great job. Also, they have the best prices on the island.

Super convenient, well worth the money. That being said, we were told our umbrella and seats would be ready by 9 am and arrived to see many spots set up, but not ours. We called them and they had it set up by 9:30.
